Honoring Our Heroes Civic Beautification

members Sandra Thompson and Debra Zilka
demonstrate
how to create seasonal
arrangements
that last all winter in outside
containers. Materials included
hydrangeas, redtwig dogwood and fresh
greenery. To show our respect for our
military personnel, firefighters and
police the
arrangements were placed near the Blue
Star Memorial, Lest They Be Forgotten
statue
and The Protector
located in the plaza between City
Hall and Taylor Police Department.
Marigolds, the official flower of the
City of Taylor and Blue
Scabiosa will be planted in spring in
those
locations to show appreciation for
those
who keep us safe.
